MEMBER'S AREA |
If you have a love of the Australian outdoors and want to share
your experiences with a friendly group of like-minded people, then the Wesley
College Four Wheel Drive Touring & Recreation Club is for you. Originally membership
was open to all members of the
Wesley College Community from all Wesley College Campuses, that is pupils, former pupils and their families, as
well as Wesley staff. However, the Club now welcomes membership applications
from people with an interest in four-wheel driving from outside the Wesley
College community.
The Club organises a range of 4x4 activities
in a family setting including:
-
Day 4WD trips from Melbourne
-
4WD weekend getaways in the
Victorian High Country
-
Outback 4WD touring to some of the
most remote corners of Australia
In addition, there are regular
get-togethers in local restaurants and an annual wine bottling. The Club meets
at 7:30pm on the fourth Thursday of every month during term time in the Senior
College staff common room at the Glen Waverley Campus. New members are always
welcome.
